Liverpool BID Company.
Liverpool BID Company is a private, not-for-profit organisation, working on behalf of 1,000 BID levy paying businesses in Liverpool city centre, across two BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) – Retail & Leisure BID and Culture & Commerce BID.
The aim of Liverpool BID Company is to improve the trading environment in the BID Area for the businesses and employees within it, to attract new investors, and to lobby on behalf of the businesses it represents. It achieves this by focusing on three key areas: resilience, community and placemaking.
The Liverpool BID Area covers some of the most iconic locations in Liverpool city centre, from the eclectic independents of Bold Street to the thriving restaurant and hotel scene of Castle Street. Also included are the professional and financial services around Old Hall Street and the retailers on the high street including Metquarter, St Johns and Clayton Square. The BID Area also spreads from the world famous cultural attractions at the Waterfront to the familiar heritage sites within St George’s Quarter.
